The main theme for April is ADJUSTMENT. Many, many areas are up for adjustment this month with the main ones being around values, resources, and worth. Adjustment comes on the heels of change, either inner or outer. The movement of stagnant energy through change will initiate a period of adjustment. Changes have been occurring both from within and from the outside over the past few months. This month there is an opportunity to be proactive with the adjustment and to direct it in such a way that it serves your own growth and increases your creativity and abundance.

One of the biggest adjustments is in the value you place on something. The imprint in the western world has largely been to value skills and training in terms of what financial return they can bring, to value your home and possessions as financial investments, and to value self sufficiency and independence as a power that sets you one up from others.  As a small child you were rewarded for doing something yourself, to the point of growing into someone that never asks for help. Asking for or accepting help was a sign of weakness. Thus the value has been placed on doing things independently rather than with the help and cooperation of others. What if you were able to shift this imprint and place a higher value on the help and support available to you? What if you placed a higher value on the helping hand that is there to assist you in navigating a steep trail rather than in your ability to navigate the trail by yourself? Certainly there are times to bid for power through personal achievement, however this has been taken to the extreme in the western world. Many of you have suffered separation because of not asking for help when needed, which is an old imprint that is no longer necessary. We have moved into an era of building relationships. The interaction, support and cooperation available through relationship is new territory for many and will take some adjustment. If you can make the adjustment, the rewards are great.

The same is true for your investments. Take your home, for example. If you own your home, the foundation of its value may have been how much your home is worth and how much equity you have in it. This is not real. The real value is what the home gives you, whether you own your home or not. It is your enjoyment, comfort, physical security, container and platform for your life that the home gives you that is most important. It is the appreciation of the time spent with family and friends. It is the piece of mother earth supplying the foundation that is the real source of power.

The same goes for possessions. Possessions held simply for investment purposes have less value than something you own that you enjoy and use all the time. If you have possessions that you are enjoying and using, you will need to adjust what value you place on them. This is not to say you need to dispose of your possessions but simply to adjust what place they have in your life in terms of value. Your investments have absolutely no value until you sell them and then actually do something with the money that affects you personally. There is no security in anything that you can lose or in anything you never really had. Net worth on paper is an idea and is not real. What is real are your experiences with tangible people places and things. This is a major adjustment in how and what you value and a very necessary one to make if we are to move ahead in our evolution.

It is also very important at this time to recognize that what you value may not be what someone else values at all. Your self-esteem and sense of self worth should never be contingent upon someone else’s value system. It is a big adjustment for the collective to change the value system from one of comparison, judgment and hierarchy to one of mutual respect, acknowledgement and cooperation. You can begin by placing a greater value on who you are rather than on what you do, and on your experiences in life rather than on how much money you have or don’t have in the bank. Your worth and your resources are who you are and what you bring to life and to others. Do you bring support, love, acceptance, inspiration, enthusiasm, delight, creativity, optimism, intimacy and joy? Or do you bring competition, judgment, fear, separation, criticism, cynicism, rejection and anger? As you become more and more aware of the fact that your inner life creates your outer life, placing more value on who you are inside will affect what happens on the outside. As a culture we spend way too much time worrying about life rather than living it. It is time to throw away the old standards and measures of success, the notion of net worth, the worries about the future, and to live today, enjoying who you are and appreciating what you have. The discipline this will require is the adjustment you will have to make.

April is month to look at and adjust your definition of resources. What you have defined as a resource in the past may need to be redefined in terms of your attachment to how it supports you as a resource. You will also have the opportunity to adjust your perception of what is a resource and what is not. The most overlooked resource is the self. You are your best resource. And as you have invested huge amounts of time, energy and money in some of your resources that may be falling off the scale in terms of value, so you should consider investing time, energy and money in yourself as the best resource you have. It will hold its value. The non-deserving self esteem issue many of you hold will need to be adjusted. Invest in yourself, your physical and emotional health, education, spiritual growth; nurture your talents without comparing them to someone else’s scale. Nurture your joy, humor and relationships. The next most important resource is your support from others. You can have all the money in the world and still have no resources if you do not have someone to help you cross the stream. The time of going it alone is over. Recognize, welcome, accept and have great gratitude for the support of others. Learn to ask for and to accept help thus placing a greater value on this resource. Make sure that the possessions and people you have around you are supportive to your experience of life. That makes them a resource rather than a liability.

PERSONAL GROWTH AND WELL-BEING

This is an amazing month for personal growth as value and what is important to you gets adjusted to be more personally meaningful. An investment in yourself as your own best resource will be perhaps the best investment you ever made. Adjust your way of thinking so that you see all your lessons, losses, challenges, changes and choices as valuable to your own personal resource. There is great potential in the area of emotional growth and placing value on how you feel about things rather than what you think or what others think about them. Learn to adjust to this new platform of power. Your well-being this month will be directly related to how well you work the value of who you are inside; supportive, loving, accepting, inspiring, enthusiastic, delightful, creative, optimistic, and joyful; or competitive, judgmental, fearful, separate, critical, cynical, rejecting and angry. Your choice.

RELATIONSHIPS

The value of relationships will continue to increase as the cooperative and service themes of the year develop. Look for adjustments in relationships related to whether or not they have value to serve you as a resource and your inner worth. Relationships that exist for the convenience and support of old value systems will need to be adjusted. How you view and relate to the different people in your life could need adjustment so that you are not expecting to receive support where it has little possibility of being given. The adjustment of relationships includes learning the value of simply being with someone and recognizing their essence and them as spirit rather than filtering and categorizing them in terms of what you can be doing. This is also a time to recognize the resource of your relationships in terms of who they are, rather than what they do, and appreciating the connection. There is a possibility of building strong emotional connections and recognizing new agreements that will later lead to alliances and cooperative endeavors.

PHYSICAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

This could be a challenging month for the physical body as it is in the process still of discharging and eliminating old patterns. This causes symptoms of skin rashes, heat, gastro-intestinal discomfort, digestive issues, strange and unrelated aches and pains, flu-like symptoms and congestion. We are still dealing with stubbornness that affects the lower back. Because of the adjustment theme, chiropractic and other physical adjustment modalities as well as adjusting your eating and exercise habits will all be helpful. Stretching, yoga, increasing your circulation and supporting detoxification of the liver and other organs could be beneficial. As you adjust your thoughts, feelings and perceptions, your energy levels will adjust as well. Some days you may feel overwhelmed and not know your own name, other days you may feel as if you could take on the whole world. Be patient. It has taken you lifetimes to end up where you are now. It will take more than an hour for the adjustment. Remember that your inner attitude will be the best remedy for any physical condition or challenge.

BUSINESS, PARTNERSHIPS AND PROJECTS

New partnerships could begin to form based on new emotional bonds and agreements. Projects will go through adjustments especially if what drives them at the core lacks inspiration and internal value. Motivations will be examined and adjustments made on their basis. Be sure your motivations have the right value attached or things may fall apart. In terms of business, there will be greater value placed on right work, service, relationships and cooperative alliances rather than the financial outcome. Money itself will become de-valued in the greater scheme of things and experience will gain a greater value. There will be a need this month for many to make the necessary adjustments in how business is done, where money is spent, what’s important and what is not. At the same time, this is a window of great creativity and innovation and an opportunity for prosperity and abundance as long as you remain unattached to what you currently have and are able to adjust to changes and see them as the opportunities they are. Examine your resources, be creative with them, invest in yourself, and expand your limited thinking about resources to include resources you have not considered before. Take an inventory of everything you have including external investments and possessions as well as internal resources, relationships, experiences, ideas and talents. If part of your inventory lacks inspiration or is an energy leak, adjust it.

CLIMATE, WEATHER, THE ENVIRONMENT

It may continue to be necessary to adjust plans according to weather and climate. Those who forecast or watch patterns may be adjusting their view of the planetary trends. New information may come to light regarding magnetics in the universe affecting weather, energy fields, planetary orbits, etc. Adjustments continue to be made as people continue to place greater and greater value on nature and the environment. These adjustments will come in the form of new laws, regulations and systems that make it easier to implement better habits around the environment and use of resources. New understandings about cooperative and symbiotic relationships between natural phenomena will bring new ideas of how to work with nature, rather than against it, to sustain life on the planet. Weather patterns will continue to be unpredictable. Learn to play with them rather than resist them.

GOVERNMENT, THE ECONOMY, GLOBAL ISSUES

Adjustment, a shift in values, cooperation, and alliances are all themes this month. The economy continues to be at the forefront of national and international focus. Obama symbolizes the new way of thinking that places value on asking for and accepting help and not going about it alone. The biggest lesson for the planet right now is to learn how to cooperate and work together, to ask for help, give it, receive it and help each other out on both a personal and global level. The time for going about it alone whether you are a person or a country is over and in the past. The only way forward is through relationship and cooperation. The sooner we learn this lesson the faster we will evolve and build a better world. Adjustments in government are slow and stubborn. The energy now is moving faster than the physical structures can keep up with. There is likely to be a great lag time between what is being created and what we actually see. It is best not to worry too much about the greater picture out there but rather to look to your own environment, experiences and housecleaning. Spring cleaning is in the air! Take advantage of it.

IMPORTANT DATES:

April 1-8: Take inventory, do your taxes, redefine your values, invest in yourself. This is a time of looking at your situation with clarity and neutrality. Notice where you have placed value on what is not real. Pay attention to what is real and make the necessary adjustments so that you are living your life instead of worrying about it. Focus on what supports you rather than what does not. Cut your losses by turning your attention away from what you don’t have or perceive you are losing. Put energy instead into new ideas, projects and investments. Pay attention to your health and support the body as much as you can.

April 9:  Full Moon at 8:56 Mountain Daylight Time. A great time to honor and appreciate what you value in yourself and in others. Think of having an experience rather than doing something. Celebrate who you are rather than what you do. Practice seeing others for who they are rather than for what they do.

April 10-17: Adjustments. Stay out of judgment, comparisons, anxiety, and cynicism. Practice the acceptance of the year. Find joy in the simple and small things in life. Value your relationships. This is a time to ask for help and support if you need it. This is a time to give help and support in a cooperative effort to others. There is a great community building aspect to this time frame. If you are feeling out of sorts, the worst thing to do is to disappear and become separate. Move towards others and ask for support. You will find it. You may also be inspired by choices to invest in yourself and your own personal growth and well-being. There can be great healing of what needs healing during this time.

April 18-25: An inspired time of movement, expansion, prosperity, inspiration, community, synthesis, cooperation, spontaneous wonderful events etc. This is all possible provided you have turned your focus inward and have adjusted your values to the right place. Remember, the inner creates the outer. No love, prosperity, acceptance, inspiration on the inside equals none of those things on the outside. If you honor yourself as the tremendous resource that you are, you will magnetize tremendous resources from the outside. If life is not treating you well, re-examine where you may still need adjustment in your values and where you may still be attached to what is not important or real.

April 24: New Moon at 9:23 PM Mountain Daylight Time. Plant the seeds of what you want to create that is more than you can ever imagine and create from the inner seed of who you are rather than what you do. Write a dream list of all the wishes you have for yourself no matter how indulgent they may seem.

April 26-30
: Make this a social time. Connect with others and build relationships.  In essence, allow being with others to be your practice. This can be a very beautiful, higher emotionally centered time of cherishing the relationships between all living things and experiencing the beauty of the planet’s creative process and of your personal place in larger picture of it all. Be sure to spend time out in nature as well as around beauty and in loving environments.

Be well, be inspired, be valued, be love.

Blessings,
Lena
