NEW! Shamanic Retreat at Eagle Bear

SHAMANIC RETREAT AT EAGLE BEAR RETREAT, NORTHERN NEW MEXICO:
JULY 18-23 2013 with Jose Stevens PhD and Lena Stevens

This will be a shamanic retreat on a 1000 acre ranch with an emphasis on right relationship and manifesting. A working knowledge of the basics of shamanism is helpful but not mandatory. This is the year to focus on breaking old patterns and resetting how and what you create in your life. The shamanic way is to live proactively. This retreat will offer you a blessed break from your every day reality as well as giving you powerful tools for living the life you want.

4PM July 18,-11AM July 23, 2013. $575 includes all meals

Details: The retreat will begin at 4PM on July 18 and you should plan on arriving at least one hour prior to the start time for orientation and to get settled in. If you are flying, Albuquerque, NM is the nearest large airport although Santa Fe has a small airport with limited flights from Los Angeles, Denver and Phoenix. We encourage carpooling and will send out a list of those attending sometime in June so carpooling arrangements can be made.

The retreat will consist of group time either outside or in our 30 foot yurt, guided individual time where you will have specific exercises and contemplations to do, and lots of time to rest, integrate, lie in a hammock and be in nature. We will be spending most of our time outdoors and there will be some evening events as well. We will include many shamanic exercises and processes that will work powerfully with our theme of right relationship and manifesting.

Being in nature is one of the best things anyone can do for healing and transformation. Attendees of other retreats have always reported feeling completely refreshed and reset after being at Eagle Bear.

All meals are included with plenty of vegetarian options. We cannot accommodate special allergies or diets but you can bring your own food if you need to.

You will need to be able to walk on uneven ground at 7000 feet elevation and participate in all of the events that may begin as early as 7AM and go until 9PM. A complete list of what to bring will be sent 30 days prior to the retreat.

Facilities are glorified camping or by vintage trailer at an additional cost (limited space). Tenting is in a designated walk-in tenting area. You will need a tent, pad and sleeping bag.

There is a bathhouse with hot showers, several outhouses, outdoor kitchen and covered dining space. There is also an option to stay in a hotel in nearby Las Vegas NM however it would be a 40 minute commute each way.

$100 deposit will hold your space. The balance is due June 28, 2013. Fees are non-refundable after July 10, 2013.

One-Year Shamanic Studies Program ~ August 2013 - September 2014

The purpose of this program is to learn about the shamanic path, from ancient to modern, how it interfaces with modern quantum physics, and, through powerful practices, ceremonies, wilderness solos and other shamanic experiences, to assimilate its wisdom and integrate it fully into daily life.

Enrollment is limited to 24 students that will form a supportive community for the year. A commitment to attend all meetings is expected.

Tuition: $3200 requiring $1200 deposit (non-refundable after July 15, 2013) with the balance paid in 10 installments of $200/monthly over the first 10 months beginning September 1, 2013.

The program is open to those who have some prior experience with shamanism, and by acceptance of the school. Participants must be in good physical condition, able to be in altitudes up to 9 thousand feet, hike on uneven ground, camp and sleep in a tent, and participate in all events some requiring early morning chi gong, sunrise or all night ceremony.

There will be 5 meetings beginning August 2013 and ending in September 2014.

Three meetings will be held at Eagle Bear, one will be a Southwest Road trip to work with power spots in and around the Southwest. And one will be in Santa Fe. The meetings at Eagle Bear will be all-inclusive with glorified camping facilities, bring your own tent, or trailer rental on a first come first serve basis. The meeting in Santa Fe will require a couple of nights of lodging and the Southwest road trip requires camping in individual or shared tents and shared meal costs (participants will team up for sharing meal prep) and carpooling in 4-wheel drive high clearance vehicles.

Testimonial from a One-Year Program student:

This has been a trans-formative program for me in part because it stretches how I look at my world; it stretches me to create my world beyond what I previously thought possible. The shamanic life view is so different from my concrete everyday life. Being with Jose, Lena, Anna and the other participants on their land or out in the wilderness somewhere brings me back to mother earth, to spirit. Being in the Powerpath one-year program with them reminds me that I am spirit and I can have right power, right work, right play and right rest. Thank you Powerpath!
